Obituary Abram Craddock "Abe" CHARLOTTE

Abram "Abe" Craddock died of chronic emphysema because he would not quit smoking.

He was born October 15, 1953 to Abram and Patricia Craddock. They lived in his father's hometown, Lynchburg, VA, until moving to Charlotte in 1954.

Abe was raised in Charlotte attending St. Gabriel's School, were his parents were founding members. He attended East Meck. in 1971 and U.N.C.C. in 1975.

Leaving college he worked for Regal Ware in sales and then joined Tilford Thomas Co. which later became Thomas & Craddock Sales 1972-2011.

Abe loved golf and played everywhere including Scotland and Ireland, his love affair with golf was somewhat tragic, as golf did not love him as much as he loved it. He loved music and sang in the church choir and occasional weddings. He also loved the lake his friends and the bar. Abe did not meet many strangers, at least not for long.

Abe is survived by wife Kari; two wonderful sons Abe and Christopher; sisters Cathy and Lesa; brothers Dave and Randy.

Abe wishes to thank his friends at Lucky Lou's and Hef's. Abe loved God and life and they loved him back.

A memorial mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 17th at 7:00pm at Saint Gabriel Catholic Church, 3016 Providence Rd., Charlotte.
