Baxter was the son of Ance and Opha (Grigsby) Baker and was a loving father, brother and grandfather. Baxter was a proud U.S. Navy Veteran stationed on the USS. Toledo and a retired clerk from the Aeronca Corporation.
Preceded in death by his parents, son Anthony Baker in 2001, daughter Carla Baker in 2014; four brothers and two sisters;
Baxter leaves behind his loving children Gary (Cathy) Baker of Fairfield, Ohio; Linda (Scott) Hathaway of Franklin, Ohio; mother of his children Cheryl Baker of Franklin, Ohio; eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Monday, January 26, 2015 at 12:00pm at the Deerfield Cemetery, South Lebanon with Rev. Dr. Stuart Snow officiating.
