Clark Lewis Davis, 98, of Jim Falls, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2015 at the Chippewa Manor after a short illness. He was surrounded by his loving family.

Clark was born to Clinton and Lila Davis on Dec. 11, 1916 in Glenburn, North Dakota.

He married Evelyn Dunlap on Nov. 26, 1936 and together they raised five children. Evelyn passed away in 1971.

In 1973, Clark married Shirle Patrie in Jim Falls.

Clark farmed in the town of Anson for many years. He was also foreman of the packaging line for the Falls Dairy. Later he became manager of the Zutter Elevator in Jim Falls.

During his retirement, he served as Anson town Chairman for several years and also enjoyed raising beef cattle as a hobby. Clark was especially proud of showing his trilliums which grew on his riverfront property.

Clark and his wife Shirle spent many winters in Texas where they enjoyed dancing and singing with friends they met over the years.

Clark was an active member of the Jim Falls United Methodist Church, Jim Falls Lions Club and Chippewa Falls Music Makers.

Survivors include: his wife, Shirle of Chippewa Falls; four children, Jeanie (Roger) Taylor of Darwin, Minnesota, Jackie (Rolf) Synoground of Austin, Minnesota, Mary (Ron) Grunseth of Kenosha and Larry (Pauline) Davis of Chippewa Falls; three step-children, Ron (Lydia) Patrie of Jim Falls, Renee Foiles of Waupaca and Roberta Nyhus of Chippewa Falls; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Clark was preceded in death by: his parents; his wife, Evelyn; daughter Kathy; two sisters and one brother.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, Jan. 12 at Jim Falls United Methodist Church with Pastor Jason Kim and Rev. Robert Hoekstra officiating. Interment will follow at Copp Cemetery, town of Anson.
