Having seen various records for Amarilla, her middle initial was either P or F. I am unsure how new this gravestone is and I will certainly update if I am able to prove her middle name.
Amarilla and her mother both died in 1840. Betsy Shelton Cody died in June of 1840, followed by Amarilla in October of 1840. I do wonder if they succumbed to the same contagious illness.
I have viewed both the marriage bond image and the minister's records showing a bond was made in preparation for Amarilla to marry Mr. William Travis. Sadly, she died before the wedding could take place.
Amarilla's siblings include Mary, Nancy Elizabeth, William S, John A, James Robert and Martha.
