Addie Cavette
Addie Sue Cavette, 82, of Henry died Friday, Jan. 9, 2015, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-6 p.m. Friday at Walton Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Henry where Cavette was a member.
The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the church.
Burial will follow in Caton Springs Cemetery in Henry.
Cavette was born Jan. 23, 1932, in Grenada, Miss., to the late Margaret and McKenzie Brady.
She attended school in the Grenada County School System.
She was married to Eugene Cavette Sr., who preceded her in death.
A family member said Cavette loved to go to church and to watch old television shows, but loved her family most of all.
She is survived by 13 children: Felix Cavette of Paris, Beatrice, Curtis, Harvey Gene and Gerald Emerson Cavette, all of Henry, Deborah Jean Cavette of McKenzie, Vanessi Bernard Cavette of Nashville, Gerard Jeremiah Cavette of Franklin, Josephine Cavette House of Mayfield, Jerry Tillman of Jackson, La., Marilyn Cavette of Garland, Texas, David Sylvesta Cavette of Denton, Texas and Barbara Jean Tillman of Redondo Beach, Calif.; and
Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Cavette also was preceded in death by a son: Eugene Cavette Jr.; and a sister: Frances Brady.
Masons Brothers Funeral Home in Evansville, Ind., was in charge of arrangements.
