Mrs. Jill Marie Goodwin James, age 63, of Toccoa, passed away Monday, January 12, 2015 at Landmark Hospital in Athens, GA.
Born November 16, 1951 in Toccoa, she was a daughter of the late John O. and Jean Scriver Goodwin. Jill was a member of the Toccoa First Presbyterian Church and was a former employee with Trogden Furniture.
Family members include her son and daughter-in-law, Rondall and Thery Ivester; granddaughter, Caterinia Daniela Ivester; her brother and sister-in-law, Grady and Judy Goodwin; nephews and their spouses, Scott and Cara Goodwin and Johnny and LeAnna Goodwin; great nieces, Kati Goodwin, Audry Goodwin, and Gracie Goodwin; great-nephew, Gray Goodwin.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Howard James.
Funeral services will be held at two o'clock Saturday, January 17, 2015 from the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary with the Rev. David Keister officiating.
Burial will follow at Martin Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 12 noon until the funeral hour on Saturday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Toccoa First Presbyterian Church, 105 East Tugalo Street, Toccoa, GA 30577.
