Robbie was a wonderful husband and father.

He married Helen Eilers on April 27, 1968, and Thursday was their 38th wedding anniversary.

He was born to Mae and Claude Robinson; and was preceded in death by his father.

He was a life member of the Amateur Trapshooting Association since he began shooting in the early 1950's and a member of the East San Angelo Lion's Club.

He loved the outdoors. Robbie hunted and fished all over the world and made lifelong friends on every outing. He loved his dogs and his friend's dogs. He was many times called My Best Friend. He was active in the Concho Valley Ducks Unlimited for 18 years, and was a lifetime member of the North American Hunter's Association.

Robbie retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1984 after serving for 20 years and four months. He was stationed at Goodfellow, Anchorage, Alaska, Wakkani, Japan, and Indian Mountain in Alaska before retiring from Carswell Air Force Base in 1984.

Since then he managed the Fort Worth Trap & Skeet Club for two years before going to work for the City of San Angelo as the manager of Fairmount Cemetery for 17 years.

He retired from the city on March 31, 2005, at which time he became Helen's fulltime chauffer-gopher.

Robbie is survived by his wife, Helen; son Robbie Robinson and his wife, Tammy, of Moore, Okla.; and daughter Cheryl Camacho and her husband, Ed, of Cibolo, Texas.
