Theodore D. Acheson, 79, formerly of 1205 N. Harmony, died Thursday in Rock County Health Care Center Born July 29, 1901. in Palmyra, he married Julia Tuckwood on Nov. 14, 1923, in Rockford, Ill. She died Jan 26. 1979.
Acheson owned and operated Acheson Paint and Glass Store here for many years He was a member of Cargill United Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge No 14, F&AM. Madison Zor Shrine and Madison Consistory-Scotish Rites Bodies.
Surviving are a son, Dr. William Acheson, of Carlsbad, Calif.; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Services will be at 1:30 p m Monday in Overton Funeral Home with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery Friends may tell from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, where masonic services will be held at 7:30 p. m.
