"A memorial service for Melville Whedbee of Topeka, Kan., formerly of Frankfort, KY and former football coach at Kentucky State Univeristy, will be held at 11 am Saturday at Plymouth Congregational Church, 17th and Chestnut Streets. Whedbee died last week in Topeka, Kan. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Whedbee, and son, Ted Smith."
