ERWIN CLAYTON KILLED IN MOTOR CAR ACCIDENT
Erwin Clayton of Muscadine, about 45 years old, an employe of the Southern Railway, was struck by a railway motor car at Muscadine Tuesday morning at 8 o'clock and died in an Anniston hospital a few hours afterward. A heavy fog is thought to have prevented him from seeing the approaching car which is said to
have struck the unfortunate man with great force, breaking both legs and otherwise mangling him. The section foreman is also said to have sustained a broken foot in the same accident.
Mr. Clayton was a brother-in-law of Ed Giles of Heflin.
