Florence Leth, 88, of Hartley died July 24, 1984, in a hospital in Hartley.

Services were at 2 pm Thursday, July 28 in Saint Paul's Lutheran Church in Hartley. The Rev. John Schauer and the Rev. R.P. Albrecht officiated. Burial was in Pleasant View Cemetery, Hrtley, under the direction of the Sanborn Funeral Home.

Mrs. Leth, the former Florence Wing, was born March 1, 1896 at Blairstown, and attended school at Hartley. She married Emil Leth April 23, 1912, at Hartley. They farmed near Hartley until 1930 when they moved into town. He preceded her in death.

She was a member of Saint Paul's Lutheran Church.

Survivors include two sons, Alfred of Melvin and Herbert of Hartley; two daughters, Mrs. Elmer (Orpha) Byers of Hartley, and Mrs. Wilber (Mildred) Thee of Algona; a brother, Duane of Saint Petersburg, Florida; two sisters, Iva Muhs of Hartley and Thelma Carey of Saint Petersburg; seen grandchildren and eleven great-great grandchildren.

Mrs. Leth was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Emil; one grandchild, Carol Jean Leth; and one sister, Mildred Wing.
