Hugh Pettit Edwards, Sr., age 90, of Gallion, died Friday, Jan. 16, 2015. Services will be 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2015 at Siloam Baptist Church in Marion. Burial will follow at Marion Cemetery with Kirk Funeral Homes Marion Chapel directing. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
He is survived by his sons, Ray Edwards (Lucretia) and Hugh Edwards Jr. (Elaine) both of Marion; daughters, Barbara of Valley Grande and Carol of Beaufort, South Carolina.
Pallbearers will be Ben McGill, Michael Edwards,Frank Barton, and Hugh Edwards III
Mr. Edwards faithfully served his country in the Army Air Corp.
