ANDERSON — Larry N. Hoover, 86, of Anderson died on Jan. 16, 2015, at Community Northview Care Center following an extended illness.

He was born Nov. 18, 1928, in Tipton, the son of Claude and Ollie (Clifford) Hoover. He retired in supervision from Delco Remy after 25 years of service. He was a member of the Chesterfield Christian Church and the Elks Club. He was an avid golfer.

Family surviving includes children, Kathi (Dale) Wisehart of Shirley and Mark (Donna) Hoover of Alexandria; three grandchildren, Jeremy (Amber) Wisehart, Matthew (Maggie) Hoover and Melissa (Rob) Chandler; four great-grandchildren, Stuart Chandler, Logan Chandler, Kash Wisehart and Nora Grace Hoover; brother, Jake Hoover of Anderson; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by wife, Barbara C. Hoover; parents; and brother, Ned Hoover.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 20, at Chesterfield Christian Church, officiated by Pastor Ned Clark. Burial will follow at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service, Anderson.
