Mrs. Janice Tiny Bagby Paden's funeral services were held on November 27, 2002 1:00 p.m. at J. Allen Couch Funeral Home located at 6246 E. Broad Street Douglasville, Georgia 30134. Bio provided by Tony Smithwick, cousin of Janice Tiny Bagby Paden. Source of bio is public records, and my personal knowledge of the family. Location of Janice Bagby Paden and family: 1950 U. S. Census Big Shanty Kennesaw, Cobb County, Georgia
Eunice Bagby (Bagley as found in the record) daughter of John W. and Sally Lanning. Eunice was working in a local cotton mill as a spinner and listed as never married:
Janice Bagby (Bagley as found in the record) granddaughter of James W. and wife Sally Lanning.
John W. and Sally Lanning listed as married: Source of information: familysearch.org for official information as to where Janice is located in 1950.
The following notation is based on personal knowledge of the family by Tony Smithwick.
Even though Eunice Bagby is listed as never married, this is not true, because I know she was married to John Tipton and William Grady Bagby. Also in 1950 sisters, Betty Nell Tipton (eleven years old), Eunice Viola Tipton was 13 years old, and Alice Irene Bagby was 5 years old; however, neither of them are with Eunice in Kennesaw Georgia.
In the mid 1950s Eunice Lanning Bagby was residing on Saint Paul Avenue located at Care Park, Atlanta, Georgia in a duplex that had been converted into a two family dwelling. As I remember, those persons living at the above address with Eunice were Alice, Janice, Charley, Mary Jo, Eunice Viola Tipton and husband, Charles Hannah. Eunice was employed at the local Cotton Mill, Whittier Mills, located on Whittier Avenue Atlanta, Georgia.
