He was born April 26, 1920, in Rural Vandalia, IL, the son of James Anderson & Maud Myrtle ( Sumption) Haynes. Married Betty Marie Shepard , January 01, 1950, Vandalia, IL. Dutch retired, after 47 years, as Foreman in Combustion Engineering. He was a World War II Army Veteran: 5th Army - 338th Division - 85th Custer's Division -first Scout for 269 day in Italy, affiliated with the Ramsey Christian Church, Ramsey, Illinois and a member of Crawford Hale Post # 95 American Legion, Vandalia, IL.
He is survived by: Wife - Betty Haynes, Vandalia, IL; Daughters - Diane Arnold & Doug, Odin, IL; Jeanette Benoodt & Mark, O'Fallon, MO; Debra Glover & Tim, Silex, MO and Mary Etta Frazier & Ronnie, Vandalia, IL;
