Orville was the son of Daniel Bryant and Matilda (Ross) McKim. He was named after his great grandfather, Seaton Taylor. Orville married Fay Dawson Sept. 29, 1915 in Grant City, Worth, MO. The couple moved to Wyoming to homestead until May 20, 1918, when he enlisted at Torrington, Wyoming in the Engineer corps of the U.S. Army during WWI. He died in Glorioux, Verdun-Meuse, France.
