THOMASVILLE - Richard R. Horn, 70, of Box 834, Thomasville RD 2, died Sunday at York Hospital. He was the husband of Betty M. (Hankey) Horn.

The service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Wetzel Funeral Home Inc., 549 Carlisle St., Hanover. Burial will be in Marburg Memorial Gardens, Hanover. Viewing will be 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Horn was born Feb. 28, 1927, in York. He was the son of the late Clarence and M. Pauline (Schaeffer) Horn.

He was an auto mechanic for more than 50 years, retiring in 1994 after more than 50 years of service, including 35 years of service with Ammon R. Smith Co. He was a member of New Oxford Social Club and a past member of East Berlin Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Mr. Horn also is survived by three sons, Richard A. Horn of Dover, Ted R. Horn of Spring Grove and Larry L. Spangler of Hanover; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Harris Horn of Dover.

Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Larry A. McConnell.
