Ronald C. Puckett, Sr. 73 of Moreland, went home on Thursday, January 15, 2015. Born May 31, 1941, he was the son of the late William and Iola Mae Moser Puckett. Ron was a member of the Knights of Columbus and worked as an engineer at Modine in Harrodsburg for many years. He loved fishing, flea marketing, bowling and playing golf.He is survived by his wife of 48 years, LaYvonne Terrell Puckett; four sons: Ron (Sandra K.) Puckett, Jr. of Salvisa, Tony (Karen) Lay of Hustonville, Troy (Katie) Lay of Harrodsburg and Tim (Karen) Lay of Harrodsburg; two daughters: Melissa “Missy Puckett” (Jerry) Stearns of Monticello and Cassandra (Chuck) Benanzer of OH; two brothers: Dale (Marlene) Puckett of Carrollton and William (Joyce) Puckett of LA; two sisters: Betty Ramona (Mike) Zwosta of Flemingsburg and Wanda Gayle (Donnie) King of LA; 15 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Mark Lay; sister, Lillian Nell; and brothers, Daniel Arnesse and Frank Puckett.
