07-08-1944 Wallace J. Baxter, beloved husband of Pearle Anderson, and eldest son of the late James Baxter and Mrs. Baxter, died at the Western Hospital in Montreal Québec, in his 49th year. He was born in Howick Québec, going to Montreal 25 years ago to make his home. Surviving are his widow, two sons, Anderson and Ronald of Montreal, his mother, Mrs. James Baxter of Brysonville, two sisters, Mrs. Duncan Thompson of Brysonville, Mrs. Laura Baxter of Howick Québec, one brother, Gerald, of Hudson Heights Québec. Funeral service was held at the Georgetown Church, service conducted by the Rev.E. Bingham. Interment in Georgetown Cemetery.
