Ronnie L. "Zorro" Sanders
December 1, 1944 - January 14, 2015
Ronnie "Zorro" Sanders, 70, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 14, 2015.
Ronnie was born on December 1, 1944 in Macon, Georgia to the late Lowell and Sara Matthews Sanders. He proudly served his country for six years in the Air National Guard obtaining the rank of Staff Sergeant. Ronnie then went to work for Bell South as a telephone technician and computer programmer where he retired after 34 years. In his spare time Ronnie enjoyed being at the Houston Lake Country Club spending time with friends, golfing, and most of all water skiing on Houston Lake.
His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of forty years, Beverly Markham Sanders of Kathleen; daughter, Sara Sanders Bock (Owen Andrew) and granddaughter, Danica Bock all of Perry; brother, Tommy Sanders of Milledgeville; and sister, Faye Allen of Douglasville.
Visitation will be Friday, January 16, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 17, 2015 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Oaklawn Cemetery in Fort Valley.
