She was united in marriage to Pat Duncan and to this union three children were born.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, David “Butch” Krider and a sister, Pat Cox.
Judy is survived by two daughters, Rebecca Austin and husband Daniel of Republic, Missouri, Paula Raymond and husband Richard of Harker Heights, Texas; son, Mart Duncan of Austin, Texas; twelve grandchildren; two sisters, Sandy Ivy of Springfield, Missouri and Vicki True of Ozark, Missouri; a niece, several nephews and a host of other relatives and many friends.
She was born and raised in Mansfield and graduated from Mansfield High School in the Class of 1966. She and Pat raised broiler chickens on the Krider farm south of Mansfield for several years. In 1986, they moved to Texas, where she was a homemaker, graphic designer and attended Central Texas College in Killeen, Texas. She had just returned to the Springfield area in July of 2014.
Judy was of the Baptist faith and in her spare time loved to read, do crossword puzzles and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was also known for exceptional talent playing the piano, even playing by ear when she would hear a song.
Judy was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her life and will cherish the many wonderful times we had together.
