LAPOYNOR - Ken Presley, 90, passed away January 15, 2015 in Frankston.

Private burial in Oaklawn Memorial Park.

He was born January 9, 1925 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to William Miller and Bessie Florence Osburn Presley. Ken served in the United States Army during the World War II era. He was trained as a B-17 pilot and was a flight instructor for the Air Corp. He later served as a manager and supervisor for the ATF and Criminal Investigator with the United States Treasury Department 25 years. Ken moved to LaPoynor in 1984 and began serving his community as a board member on the LaPoynor School Board and the Henderson County Child Welfare Board as well as many others. He was Co-Chairman of the Republican Party and an Elder of First Presbyterian Church of Athens.

Survivors include sons Kenneth Presley, Jr. and wife JoAnne of Frankston, Charles W. Presley, Sr., and wife Lana of Allen; grandchildren Charles Presley, Jr. and wife Kacey of Poynor, Kristan Seale and husband Jake of Fairview, Sara Koski and husband C. J. of Frisco, Elizabeth Brewer and husband Taylor of Tyler, eight great grandchildren; sister Betty Mosley of Colleyville, numerous nieces and nephews.
