Stella Mae Grooms, 88, of 925 Koberlin, died at 11:19 p.m. Saturday at Shannon Hospital.
Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Edgar Tatum, pastor of the Baptist Tabernacle, officiating. Burial will follow in
Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens.
She was born Jan. 27, 1892, in Floresville. Survivors include a daughter ILA MAE SCHULTZ of San Angelo; four sons. MARVIN ASBURY & W.A."JUNIOR" ASBURY , both of San Angelo. EDGAR ASBURY of Aransas Pass and LEON ASBURY of Irving; three sisters, Ethel Talley and Mrs. Eddie Yeager, both of Floresville, and Sadie Rankin of San Antonio; 29 grandchildren; 66 greatgrandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
