He was a construction contractor, a Christian, enjoyed hunting/fishing, playing cards with his buddies and gardening.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Janet Green of Batesville; one son, Russell Green of Magness; three daughters, Jerla Murdock of Mesquite, TX, Carla James of Batesville and Kimberly Broughton of Batesville; one brother, G.F. Green of Magness; ten grandchildren, Kyle Mathes, Kody Mathes, Chaney James, Keely James, Holly Lazanas, Melissa Murdock, Anna Ledezma, Amy Murdock, Nick Murdock and Josh Murdock; and one great grand child, Nadylee Mathes.
He is preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Henry Green, Shelly Green, Lawrence Green, Leonard Green and Rader Green; four sisters, Hazel McNabb, Helen Milton, Pauline Webster and Cleo McAfee.
Services were at the Willis Funeral Service Chapel with burial at Sulphur Rock Cemetery in Sulphur Rock.
