Daughter of John Wightwick-Knightley and Jane Musgrave.

She was baptized on the 6th April 1808 at St. Gregory's Church, Offchurch, Leamington, Warwickshire. Until her marriage, Marianne had lived with her mother in Gloucestershire.

Marianne married the Rev. Wilfred Lawson Jarrett on the 23rd October 1839 in Wokingham, Berkshire, there were no children from the marriage.

Rev. Jarrett was Rector from 1840 - 1849 at St. Peter's, Carmerton, Somerset.
And vicar from 1849 - 1851 at Beckington, Cambridgeshire.

The Rev. Jarrett was presented to the vicarage of Offchurch, by Lord Aylesford in 1851, and he remained there until his death in 1880. Lord Aylesford died before Rev. Jarrett, but his widow, Jane, Countess of Aylesford, Marianne's niece, attended the reverend's funeral.

Pictured left is Offa House, the home where the reverend and Marianne lived, it is situated next to St Gregory's Church.
