MRS. DAVIS, 67, DIES; SERVICES SET SATURDAY
Mrs. Lyman Davis 67, Albion, died at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Evangelical Hospital following a heart attack.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Avey Funeral Home, with the Rev. Edyth m. Wileoxon, Albion officiating. Burial will be in the Albion Cemetery.
Mrs. Davis was born Hattie Cagwin, the daughter of Tacy and Phoebe (Hayes) Cagwin, April 18,1885, on a farm near Marshalltown. She was married to Lyman Davis Dec. 5, 1922. She was a member of the Albion Presbyterian.
Surviving are the widower, a daughter Mrs. Edith Bowman, Los Angeles; two sisters, Mrs. C.C. Culbertson, Marshalltown and Mrs. Leona Pray, Des Moines; three brothers, Delmar Cagwin, Garwin, Ray cagwin Mason City and Chet cagwin, Huntington Park Calif; two grandchildren and for great grandchildren.

LYMAN DAVIS FOUND DEAD

Albion- (Special) Lyman Davis 53 was found dead about 11 a.m. Wednesday where he had lived alone. The body was found by his nephew, Lester Keoppel, who became alarmed when he failed to get an answerer when he went to the Davis home earlier in the morning.

Sheriff Harry W. Jennings and coroner Harold E. Sauer were called and said he had been dead for some time. Mr. Davis had been suffering from Multiple Sclerosis but had been getting around as usual. He was last seen Monday evening

Mr.. Davis was born Sept 9, 1901. at Albion the son of Samuel and Nancy (Button) Davis. He was married to Mr.s Hattie Cagwin on Dec 5, 1922 and they lived in Marshalltown, Des Moines and Long beach Calif., before coming to Albion last spring. Mrs. Davis died in April.

He was also preceded in death by three brother and four sisters. Surviving are a sister Mrs. Blanche Sweet of Marssshalltown, a step daughter Mrs. Edith Bowman in California, and two step grandsons.
