Lottie Evell Lewis, age 87, passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at Washington County Regional Medical Center. The Swainsboro native had lived in Reidsville most of her life. She was a homemaker and was of the Methodist faith. Ms. Evell loved to watch the television, listen to the radio, sew, cook and read. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Dewitt Lewis and her sons, Ken and James Lewis.

She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Quattlebaum of Harrison, GA; sisters, Ethel Clifton of Toombs County and Virginia Shaffer of Colorado; brother, Junior Powell of Toombs County; grandsons, Devin Jarriel of NC and Donald Jarriel of Harrison; two great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 17, 2015 from the funeral home beginning at 12:00pm with a graveside service to follow at 1:00pm at the Reidsville City Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to the National Psoriasis Foundation, 6600 SW 92nd Ave Suite 300, Portland, OR 97223.
