Geneva W. Hamilton
Geneva W. Hamilton, 97, of Waldron died Friday, July 8, 2011, at Waldron Health & Rehab Center in Waldron.
Born Dec. 11, 1913, in Kentucky, she was the daughter of James A. and Ticia Lee (Shelburne) Foreman. She married Marvin Hamilton, and he preceded her in death.
Survivors include son, C.A. Cunningham of Mount Washington, Ky.; a daughter, Bonnie Lee Troutman of Louisville, Ky.; and 10 grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Gene Lloyd Cunningham; and a daughter, Judy J. Berry.
Mrs. Hamilton had lived in this area most of her life, having previously lived in Kentucky.
She was a homemaker.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. David Humphrey officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Shelby County Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.
