WAYNESBORO, PENNSYLVANIA

Naomi Elizabeth (nee Tressler) Baker, age 85 of 61 Mt. Vernon Terrace and formerly of 23 Mt. Vernon Terrace, Waynesboro was called home to be with her Lord on Thursday, January 15, 2015 at the Chambersburg Hospital.

Born November 8, 1929 in Emmittsburg, Maryland she was the daughter of the late John Jacob and Anna Catherine (Black) Tressler.

On August 22, 1975 in Hagerstown, Maryland she married her late husband Lloyd W. Baker who died on April 4, 1998.
She earned her GED at the Waynesboro Area Sr. High School.

She had been employed for 35 years in the sewing factory. She also later worked as a hostess.

She is survived by a daughter Lavinah Sanders of Waynesboro and four sons Richard Turner and Stanley Tony Turner both of Emmitsburg, Maryland; Gary Turner and Steven Turner both of Waynesboro; two step sons Richard Baker of Carlisle and John Baker of Waynesboro, 12 Grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren: two brothers Daniel Tressler of Thurmont, Maryland; and Joseph Tressler of Littlestown, PA and a sister Lula Turner of Emmitsburg, Maryland. In addition to her husband she is preceded in death by 9 brothers and sisters.

A Celebration of life funeral service will be held on Monday, January 19, 2015 at 11 AM in the Lochstampfor Funeral Home, Inc., corners of S. Church and W. Second Street, Waynesboro. Interment in Friends Creek Cemetery, Emmitsburg, Maryland. The family will receive friends on Sunday January 18, 2015 from 6 to 8 PM at the Lochstampfor Funeral Home and on Monday before the funeral ceremony.
