Anthony H. Walker died of a fractured skull suffered when his car turned over
Sustaining a fractured skull when his automobile overturned at 45th Street and Washington Avenue Tuesady night . Anthony Howard Walker died yesterday morning at the Riverside hospital without regaining consciousness
J. D Norton of Chase City who is visiting relatives here, said he was a virtual eye witness of the accident, having been walking on the opposite side of the street when the car turned over pinning it's 18 year old driver under it, and that he rushed to the car calling for assistance. Mr. Norton said that several other men responded and in a few minutes they lifted the car from the boy and rushed him to the hospital. A broken radius rod on the front right axle of the car caused the accident in Mr. Norton's opinion
Anthony Howard is survived by his parents Mr. and Mrs. Frank J. Walker of 338 51st Street, two brothers Allan J. Walker, a dental student at the University of Pennsylvania and Frank J. Walker Jr. of this city, and three sisters Mrs. C. W. Gary (Isabella) of this city, Mrs Harold Wayne (Mary Francis) of Garden City, New York and Mrs. Harry Oldes (Ann Winifred) of Brooklyn, New York
Funeral services will be held at 9 o'clock Saturday mroning from the St Vincent's Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. E.E. Johnston officiating. Internment will be made in the Greenlawn Memorial Park
