George B. Bunn, of Taunton while in Williamsburg,VA died suddenly on August 16, 2005; born in Philadelphia, PA. He was graduate of Philadelphia schools and a graduate of Drexel Institute of Engineering . He was employed as a engineer for GE, Raytheon, and Foxboro Companies.

In 1972 in received his teaching certificate from Bridgewater State College. From `1974 of 1977 he taught Math at Bishop Feehan High School in Attleboro and was also a subsititue teacher at Bristol-Plymouth High School in Taunton. He taught a computer hardware course at Dean Jr. College in Franklin,MA. Mr. Bunn coached Basketball at Bishop Feehan and at various youth basketball teams. He also coached Little League Baseball in the 1970’s and later served as a umpire for baseball leagues in the Taunton Area. A member of Winthrop Street Baptist Church in Taunton, he served as a Deacon, Sunday School Teacher and served on various committees at the Church. He was a devoted husband father and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife Virginia (Johnson) Bunn and his children Donna Smith and her husband Winsor and Barbara Darosa and her husband Bill all of Taunton and Douglas Bunn and his wife Karen and Thomas Bunn all of Williamsburg,VA; nine grandchildren, and a sister Loretta Platt of May Landing,NJ.

His funeral service will be held in the Winthrop Street Baptist Church, 39 Winthrop St., Taunton on Monday, August 22. Crapo-Hathaway Funeral Home, 350 Somerset Ave, (Rt 138 South) Taunton. Interment Mayflower Hill Cemetery, Taunton.
