Robert J. Looney, 80, of Anderson, SC passed away on January 14, 2015 at Rainey Hospice House.
Born on April 19, 1934 in Pendleton, SC; he was married to the late Ida Looney and was a veteran of the US Army having served in Korea.
He is survived by 3 sons; 4 daughters; 14 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 6pm on Friday, January 16, 2015 officiated by Rev. John Daniel at Sosebee Mortuary, South Chapel. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the Mortuary on Friday from 4pm-6pm.
Burial will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 11am at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
The family will be at the home of Steve Looney, 515 Nursery Lane, Anderson, SC.
