Norma Jean O'Blosser, 68, of 2617 W. Front St., Berwick, died early Tuesday morning, Sept. 19, 2002, at her home. she had been in failing health for several months.
Born July 1, 1934, in Wapwallopen, she was a daughter of the late Elmer and Naomi V. Jacobs Roth.
Mrs. O'Blosser was a waitress at the former Rea & Derick drug store, Berwick, for many years. She later was a receptionist and did clerical work for O'Blosser's Heating and Air Conditioning business.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Mifflinville.
She was also a member of the Briar Creek Grange.
Mrs. O'Blosser enjoyed sewing, crafts and travel.
A brother, Wallace Roth, died previously, as did a sister, Hazel Slusser.
She is survived by her husband, Ivan C. O'Blosser, with whom she observed a 47th wedding anniversary on Aug 24; a son, Wendell W. O'Blosser, Mifflinville; a daughter, Mrs. Wayne (Wanda) Rinehimer, Berwick, RR4; four grandchildren; and two brothers: Lester Roth, Briar Creek; and Clarence Roth, Wapwallopen.
Funeral services will be 10a.m. Friday, with her pastor, the Rev. Erwin Roux, officiating. Burial will be in Elan Memorial Park, Lime Ridge.
