Married to Cora E. CANDLAND.~WIFE FINDS MATE STRANGLED
MOUNT PLEASANT -- Peter WOOLSEY, 50, was found dead in a woodshed near his home by his widow and a daughter at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, after he had been missing from his home less than an hour. Officers who investigated said he had strangled himself.
Born here December 25, 1887, a son of Thomas and Christian Syndergaard WOOLSEY, he had lived here practically all his life. He had been employed by A. C. Madsen and later by the estate, only recently losing his job.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Elizabeth Candland WOOLSEY, and eight sons and daughters, Stanley, Harold, Grant, Beth, Bert, Don and Ramona WOOLSEY, all of Mount Pleasant, and Dean WOOLSEY, in a Nevada C C C camp.
The body is at Jacobs Mortuary awaiting funeral arrangements.
