Levor Ernest Oldham, 40, president of the Mt. Pleasant Civic Relief Workers' Protective union, died at the family home Monday evening following a lingering illness of heart disease.
Mr Oldham was born here May 3, 1895, a son of Charles H. and Mina Larsen Oldham. For several years he was a railroad clerk for the Southern Pacific railroad in Nevada and California. Following his return to Utah he engaged in farming and has served as Justice of the Peace for the Mt Pleasant precinct for the past three years. He was an active worker in the L D S church and was a counselor in the North ward elders' quorum at the time of his death. He married Effie Leora Draper on May 3, 1915.
Mr. Oldham is survived by the following children; Fern, Albert, Iva, Neil, Ned, Jean and Richard Oldham, all of Mt. Pleasant; his mother, a brother, Verlin Oldham, Mt. Pleasant and two sisters, Mrs James Reynolds, Salina and Mrs. Earl Cloward, Provo.
