Hubert Densley (Chick) Youngblood

Hubert Densley (Chick) Youngblood, 76 of Rockdale died Sept. 23.

Services will be held Saturday at 5 p.m. at the Milam County Cowboy Church in Rockdale on Hwy 77. No visitation will be held.

Youngblood was born on June, 11, 1936 to Hubert Densley and Ruth Youngblood. He was married to Darlene Youngblood. He opened The Barn Bar & Grill in 1973 on FM 487 & Hwy 77 then moved The Barn in 1997 to FM 908 & Hwy 77 and is still operation.

He retired from Alcoa in 1994. He had a dairy farm for 7 years. He loved to cook at BBQ cook offs. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, James Roy Youngblood.

He is survived by his wife Darlene Youngblood; daughters, Becky Youngblood, Vicky VonGonten and her husband, Bob, Sharon Roznovak and husband, Jeff, Lisa Youngblood; Step-Daughters, Donna Cooper and husband Clint, Sherry Waggoner and husband Johnny and Candice Endsley and husband, JT; sons, James Youngblood and wife, Jenna, and Michael Youngblood; nine grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren, six great grandchildren and three step great-grandchildren.
