Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Abundant Life Fellowship with the Rev. Vince Inman, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery at Borger by Brown Funeral Directors.
Mr. Johnston was a veteran of the Army. He was a lineman and repair tech for Southwestern Bell Telephone Co.
Survivors include his wife, Gloria; two sons, Clifton Ray Johnston of Leavenworth, Kan., and Tuxie Ballard of Borger; four daughters, Debbie Ray and Bobbi Chowins, both of Borger, Jana Parrish of Dalhart and Regina Reynolds of Pittsburg; a sister, Frances Hefner of Stinnett; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Mr. Johnston was born March 13, 1937, and was a native of Borger. He was a lineman and repair tech for Southwestern Bell Telephone. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of Abundant Life Fellowship. He married Gloria Ballard on Jan. 25, 1973, in Borger.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria; two sons, Clifton Ray Johnston of Leavenworth, Kan., and Tuxie Ballard of Borger; four daughters, Debbie Ray and Bobbi Chowins, both of Borger, Jana Parrish of Dalhart, and Regina Reynolds of Pittsburg, Texas; one sister, Frances Hefner of Stinnett; and 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
