Mr. Goff was born in Kentucky April 5th, 1835, and moved with his father to Illinois when one year of age, living there until eleven years ago when he immigrated to this place.
He purchased a fine section of land and until the failure of his health, almost one year ago, and was known as one of our most successful farmers.
