LONG, Mr. Page DeWitt, loving, hardworking and dedicated servant to his family and faith, passed away peacefully January 2, 2015 to join his loving wife, Frances Maurine Long in eternal life. Page was born April 21, 1928 in Grimes, Alabama, the youngest child of Margaret Frances Baxley and Melton L. Long. He grew up in and around Dothan, Grimes and Midland City with his ten older siblings, who loved and cherished their baby brother.

On July 24, 1949 he married the love of his life, Frances Maurine Chase and together they had five daughters. Page and Frances were sealed for time and all eternity on August 21, 1959 in the Salt Lake City Temple of the LDS Church.

Page was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Maurine, his granddaughter, Ashley Langley and his ten brothers and sisters. He is survived by his five daughters, Sharon (Robert) Starling, Debra (John) Collins, Libby Hansen, Cathy (Paul) Brown, and Janet (Paul) Wolbeck, twenty-two grandchildren, and twenty-five great-grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, January 6, at Wetumpka Funeral Home,8801 U.S. Hwy 231 N, Wetumpka, 36092. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 7, at 12:30 p.m. at the Capitol Ward Building of the LDS Church 770 S. Court Street, Montgomery, Alabama 36104 with burial to follow at Montgomery Memorial Cemetery.
