Samantha Dawn Green, 24, of Strasburg, Virginia, passed away suddenly on Monday, January 12, 2015.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 16, at 11:00 a.m. at Maddox Funeral Home in Front Royal conducted by Sammy Campbell.
Samantha was born April 8, 1990 in Front Royal, VA at Warren Memorial Hospital, daughter of James and Patricia Green of Strasburg.
Samantha was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, granddaughter, niece, cousin, and friend.
Along with her parents she is survived by two brothers, Bobby Cooke (Becca) of Strasburg, VA and Jimmy Williams (Kimberly) of Winchester, VA; two sisters, Brandy Nelson (Steve) of Martinsburg, WV and Tiffany Green (Patrick) of Strasburg, VA; maternal grandmother, Betty Lou Hudson and paternal grandmother, Dorothy Lee Welch, both of Front Royal; eight nieces and nephews, Juliyana, Hunter, Nataleigh, Deondre, Colton, Averi, Zoe, and Wyatt. Samantha loved her nieces and nephews as if they were her own. They were her world. Also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Samantha was preceded in death by her aunt, Regina Cooke; her grandfather, Kenneth Welch; and her cousin, Heather Wilkins.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 15, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home.
Samantha is in our hearts forever and will be sadly missed.
