The youngest child and only girl born to Joseph and Matte Young Jackson. She had 5 brothers, Arland, Garland, Calvin, Devon and Terrance. The last survivor of her family she loved telling stories about her family and growing up on their family ranch in Johnson Canyon. She and her husband Jack raised 4 children, Sherri, Jackson, Paula and Brad. She also had a significant influence and motherly hand in the raising of two of her local grandsons, Matt and Brady.
She joined with the DUP and did much research about her family and the history of Kanab which she loved to share. She was a humble and giving person and it was important to her and Jack that we all should be proud of who we were and from where we came.
