Mrs. Margaret Abrams of Waynesboro, Ga. died on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at Burke County Medical Center. She was 88, and a lifetime resident of Burke County, which she loved. She was a member of First Bynes Grove Baptist Church. Her passion was working with children. She was employed at the Burke County Child Development Center in the capacity as Parent Organizer. Margaret received many accolades during her lifetime for her commitment and dedicated service to her community and family. Her husband of 61 years, Gus Abrams, preceded her in death. She is survived by one son, Robert (Bobby) Jenkins (Georginna) of New Bern, N.C.; two brothers, Porter Wright (Georgia) and Robert Wright of Greensboro, N.C.; two sisters, Magnolia Virginia Bynum of Greensboro, N.C. and Dr. Rosa Wright Jones of Kernersville, N.C.; three grandchildren, N.Y., N.Y., a host of nieces and nephews, godchildren and friends
