Mrs. J.H. Overton, of Grove Level and formerly of Atlanta, died at the home of her son, J.M. Overton, yesterday at 6:15 o'clock. Mrs. Overton was 70 years of age. She was born in DeKalb County, but after her marriage moved to Atlanta, where she lived for 25 years. She is survived by a husband and five children, the children being Mrs. G.M. Anderson and Mrs. W.M. Almand, of Atlanta; Mrs. John Reagin, of Lithonia; Mrs. G.R. Cheshire and Mr. W.B. Overton of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Mr. J. M. Overton, of Grove Level. The interment will be at Grove Level on Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. C.C. Maples, of this city, to officiate at the obsequies.
