ORONO AND MILO - Kathleen M. Burton, 79, wife of the late Harold "Spike" Burton, Jr., passed away January 12, 2015, at Orono Commons. She was born June 20, 1935, in Milo, the daughter of John and Agnes (Stone) McLean. She had worked for many years at the local 5 and 10 store, and at Dexter Shoe in Milo.

Kathleen is survived by a son, Danny Burton and Tina of Levant; a brother, Joe McLean of South Portland; three beloved grandchildren, Anthony Burton, Amy McLean, and Sarah Burton; and five great grandchildren. She was predeceased by three brothers, Jim, Tom, and Walter McLean; and four sisters, Olive Faraday, Mary Day, Nora McLean and an infant twin sister, Beatrice McLean.

A graveside memorial service at the family lot in Evergreen Cemetery will be conducted in the spring. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home, Milo. Condolences and memories may be expressed at www.laryfuenralhome.com.
