She is survived by her children, Jim and Linda Vande Bunte, Judy and Don Borgic, Carol Vande Bunte; her grandchildren, Brad and Amy Vande Bunte, Tracy and Chris Harkema, Ryan and Becky Vande Bunte, Joe and Trista Borgic, Ben and Stacey Borgic; her beloved great grandchildren, Levi, Ava, Sam, Arie, Leah, Tessa, Hoyt, Jolyn, and Kylee.
She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Virginia Weurding and Alida Vande Bunte; her brother-in-law Tom and Barb McCoy.
Our mother's legacy is that she lived and believed that our only comfort in life and death is that we are not our own, but belong - body and soul, in life and in death - to our faithful Savior, Jesus Christ.
Funeral services for Pearl will be held on Monday at 11:00 A.M. at the Forest Grove Reformed Church with Rev. Judson Marvel officiating. Interment Forest Grove Cemetery. Friends and relatives may meet with the family at the VanderLaan Funeral Home on Sunday from 3 to 6 P.M. and on Monday from 10 to 11 at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Forest Grove Reformed Church education fund.
