Perry L. Cox, age 83 of McKee, KY went home to be with the lord May 17,2014 at St Joseph Hospital in Berea, KY surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was born Tuesday, July 22,1930 in McKee, KY, to the union of Perry and Ethel Gabbard Cox. On July 6, 1957 he married Judy Marshall. He lived and worked in Connersville, IN and retired from Ford Motor Company after 30 years. He and Judy moved to KY and enjoyed attending church and listening to Bluegrass Gospel music. He was a member of the Sand Gap Holiness Church. He is survived by his wife Judy, his grandchildren: Steven and his wife Michelle Barrett; and JaLisa and her husband Mark Fowler, 6 great grand children: Landon, Colton, Ethan, Carson, and Marisa Fowler and Bethany Barrett, Siblings: Demmerre Cox; Eugene and his wife Diana Cox;Edward and his wife Linda Cox; Margie and her husband Carter Fowler; and Ruth Cox Hisel, and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Perry and Ethel Cox, his beloved daughter, Kathleen, 3 sisters: Edith Cox; Mary Jones; and Beulah Crutcher, 2 brothers: Elmerre Cox and Ernest Cox. Visitation will be from 10am to 2pm Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at Dobson Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 2 pm Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at Dobson Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Barrett officiating. Burial will be 1pm Wednesday May 21, 2014 in the Goshen Cemetery in Richmond, Indiana.
