C. W. Hockenberger, 38, wealthy lumberman
of Rochester, N. Y., and former
All-American football tackle, died
here today from peritonitis. He came
here to open up a mill he was constructing.
His widow and four children are
en route here, but do not know he is
dead. He died following an operation.
