Clara Hazel Cunningham was born on March 16th, 1929 in Leona, Oregon to Mary and Everett Case, and died on June 7th, 2014, surrounded by family.

Clara was raised in Independence, Oregon, marrying John Cunningham on August 28th, 1953. They were gifted with 3 children: Bruce, Janeen and John Randal, losing Bruce at birth. Clara raised her family at the home place including caring for her mother and remained there throughout their lives.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and all siblings except her best friend and sister Viola. She was gifted with seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 12, 12-5 pm at Farnstrom Mortuary, 410 Monmouth Street, Independence. Graveside service will be Friday, June 13, 3:30 pm at Hilltop Cemetery, Independence, OR. Please share your memories and condolences at FarnstromMortuary.com.
