Marie is the daughter of Etienne Tomingo dit Carabi and Marie-Reine Charpentier. She married Francois Caron on 28 April 1710 in Cap-St-Ignace, Quebec. They are the parents of the following (verified with PRDH):

Etienne Tomingo dit Carabi is the son of Etienne Tomingo and Catherine Madame. He married Marie-Reine Charpentier on 26 August 1681, in Quebec. He was a petty seaman by trade. He was born about 1647 in Bayonne, France. He was buried 28 December 1702, in Quebec.

Marie-Reine Charpentier is the daughter of Bonaventure Charpentier and Isabelle DeSens. She was baptized about 1658, in St-Sulpice, Paris, France. She died 25 January 1728, in Montreal.
