Maurice Rogers, age 83, of Macon, GA, passed away on January 11, 2015. Funeral services were held on January 14, 2015, in the Chapel of Hutchings Funeral Home. Burial followed in Middle Georgia Memory Gardens. Mr. Rogers was born to the parentage of Miller Rogers, Sr. and Ada Kitchens Rogers. A native of Milledgeville, GA he was educated in the Baldwin County Public School System. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict and was employed and retired from Robins AFB. He was a member of Magnolia Baptist Church for many years before joining Ebenezer Baptist Church where he served as deacon. Survivors include: daughters, Linda R. (Willie) Powers, Albany, GA, Brenda R. (Frederick) Wilson, Simpsonville, SC and Kathy R. (Lewis) Martin, Macon, GA; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three sisters-in-law, Annette Rogers, Milledgeville, GA, Katie Rogers, Bay Shore, NY and Evie M. Taylor, Atlanta, GA.
